What Each Hotkey Does
| Hotkey | Description |
|---|---|
| Capture Clip | Saves a longer clip from the replay buffer. Default duration is 30 seconds, configurable up to 30 minutes. Use this when you want to capture extended gameplay moments. |
| Instant Replay | Saves a short clip from the replay buffer. Default duration is 15 seconds. Perfect for quickly capturing highlights like kills, goals, or funny moments. |
| Start/Stop Recording | Toggles the replay buffer on or off. The buffer must be active before you can capture clips. When enabled, ClipMac continuously records in the background. |
| Show/Hide App | Toggles the main ClipMac window visibility. Useful for quickly accessing your clips library or settings without using the dock. |
Tip: Both Capture Clip and Instant Replay work the same way — they save from the replay buffer. The only difference is the default duration. You can customize each duration in Settings under Recording.
